So after drawings upon drawings I've final chosen my six final outfits for the Parade !
I pretty much have all my fabrics which is a bonus, I just hope I can still find the same fabric if i accidently run out >.<
The fabrics I found are PERFECT ! Good'ol Spotlight ;] haha, never fails to let me down.
Most of my fabrics are Stretch Cotton Sateens, which are going to be great at hugging the body. I also thought it might be fun to name all my pieces !
My six outfits consist of:
1. Bolero, top and pedal pushers which will be named 'Lola'
2. Cropped jacket, top and high-waisted skirt which will be named 'Jean' becuase its quite conservative and I think Jean is an older person name, lol
3. Knee length fitted dress which will be named 'Roxanne', Roxanne sounds sexy, ha
4. Top and high-waisted ballerina skirt which will be named 'Suzie'
5. Fitted coat which flares out at the waist, I'll probably end up putting a skirt underneith just made of tulle and netting, to make it stay out ;] which will be named 'Madeline'
6. Fitted dress with a large collar and fish tail which will be names 'Rizzo', its definitely a Rizzo dress !
Not sure if it will stay in that order, i'll have to wait and see how they turn out first, might change it around a bit.
I was thinking of putting my designs up...but I think I might let you all wait till the end ;]
Well I'm ready to start my patterns now, BUT, unfortunately we have to take a four week break while our campus relocates to the City -.- very bad timing if you ask me ! Quite annoyed actually, only because I don't have the space and resources that tafe has. I have taken some paper, so I'll try my best to get started.
I also create my Logo for my Miss Meg range and here it is...
